Arrival at the airport you will be greeted by your English speaking driver / guide (or on request speaking Italian); you will be transferred directly to Kampala where you will stay at the hotel.

In the morning transfer to Kibale forest, lunch along the road and arrival in the early afternoon first at Fort portal and then at the forest of Kibale where you will do a nature walk in the forest at the Bigody sanctuary, where you will look for colobia a great variety of birds that offers this area of park. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
At 8 am you will have a breefing with the rangers at the park headquarters before entering the forest to look for chimpanzees. The chimpanzee trek lasts from 1 to 4 hours depending on when you find the animals, once found you can stay with them for an hour. It will be an exciting and unique activity. After lunch transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP which is about 3 hours from the forest, possible game drive in case of short duration of trekking with chimpanzees. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Game drive at the crack of dawn, in search of predators, elephants, and many animals. Packed lunch and in the afternoon you will take a cruise on the Kazinga Channel that connects Lake Edoardo and Lake Giorgio. Here expect to see lots of hippos, buffaloes, elephants drinking from the river, antelopes and even very rare birds; your journey will end when the canal flows into Lake Edward. This will surely be one of the most exciting activities of the entire trip, to see the lively life of the savannah near the waterways is certainly a great show. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
In the morning, game drive in the park to research especially the “lion climbing” in the southern sector of the Ishasha park. But where you can still find all the animals that are in the northern sector, so leopards, hyenas, buffaloes, elephants.
After lunch on the road, transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable forest, on the way you can admire unique views of the forest and the hills that make this unique place located in the heart of Africa. Gorilla trekking in the Ruhja area.
Breakfast at the first light of dawn and proceed towards the headquarters for a little breefing with the rangers, you will be placed in groups of up to 8 people before proceeding inside the forest. The Gorilla trek varies from day to day and from gorilla family to another. You will stay with them an hour from when you saw the first specimen and it will still be an indescribable emotion to see these unique animals within walking distance of you. After the trek transfer to lake Bunyonyi which is about an hour and a half from Ruhja. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
In the morning we will cross the border with Rwanda with “least African Visa” which you will take at Entebbe airport (cost: 100 usd not included).
Afterwards we will move to the national park of the volcanoes where the next day you will decide which activity to do among those proposed.
The second gorilla trekking to the Volcano National Park will cost USD 750 per person.
Alternatively we can choose other activities such as: climbing Mount Bisoke, where you will have incredible views and where you will reach a lake located at an altitude of about 3200 meters (not including 75 usd per person), a visit to the tomb of Diana fossey, two hours of trekking (not included 75 usd per person), golden monkey trekking (not included 100 usd per person).
Today we move to Kibuye on Lake Kivu, where we will take a walk in the village. In the afternoon possibility to make an excursion on the lake and visit some small islands inside (excluded). Dinner and overnight at the hotel
In the morning we will move to Nyungwe forest, one of the largest forests in East Africa where, in addition to chimpanzees, we will find dozens of colobias, very rare birds, some endemic to the area, we will have lunch on the road.
At 8 in the morning you will have a breefing with the rangers at the headquarters of the park, before entering the forest to look for chimpanzees. The chimpanzee trek lasts from 1 to 4 hours depending after how long you find the animals, once found you can stay with them for an hour. It will be an exciting and unique activity. Return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon possibility of hiking or simply relaxing at the lodge.
